Founder
Javier earned both his Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor from Florida International University. Javier was first exposed to the legal field as a college student, when he began working in a Miami law office for several, prominent criminal defense attorneys. Javier was instantly drawn to the work they were doing.
Javier would work his way up to become a law clerk for two highly rated criminal defense attorneys. During law school, Javier continued working as a law clerk, and also interned at the Miami Public Defender's Office.
Upon graduating from law school, Javier was granted a coveted Graduate Fellowship and began his professional practice at the Miami Public Defender's Office. Javier was assigned a full caseload in the Juvenile Division, where he handled a range of cases including Felonies, Misdemeanors, and violations of Juvenile probation. It was during this time that Javier established the knowledge, confidence, and skill that would become the foundation of his style of practice and litigation.
Javier continued developing his knowledge and skill as a litigator and trial attorney by serving as an Assistant Public Defender for the 20th Judicial Circuit in Naples, Florida. During his time as an Assistant Public Defender in Naples, Javier served as the senior Misdemeanor division attorney, as well as the lead Juvenile division attorney, handling juvenile felony cases.
Richard Martinez, Esq.

Richard Martinez is a trial attorney with over 16 years of trial experience. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1987. During his last year of law school, he interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office under Janet Reno. After Law school, she hired him as one of her office's prosecutors. Later, Mr. Martinez was cross-designated as a federal prosecutor. As a prosecutor, he gained extensive trial experience trying countless felony jury trials and developed a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system from within the prosecutor's office.
After leaving the State Attorney's Office, Mr. Martinez became a Partner with a civil firm in Miami and litigated complex civil cases while maintaining a state and federal criminal defense practice.
